Dear Sir

Thanks for the specimen of Mr Callendars useful design; which I heartily wish him success to complete.1 I have only one remark which is that I think, proper names as Torfæus egbert, Pennant &c should be in types different from the rest, as they serve to catch the eye much better. Is the work by subscription or how?

As my hands are always extremely full, I love to have all sort of needless trouble taken off; therefore wish Mr Low’s M.S. had gone directly to him. But I will send it next week to Mr Cadel. My compliments to Mr Low as I have nothing new to write.

I am
Dear Sir
yr affect. humble Servt

T. Pennant.

June 16th 1778.
