Mr Mostyn performed to a miracle & does His tutors vast honor.1 at request of Mr Falconer & me he permits you to give us yr company too morrow.2 I have provided Keffel3 so send boots, & Baggage &c by Bearer & follow yrself. with all speed. I have just had a most irritating Letter about Penmaen mawr so we must defend ourselves4

1. In view of the reference to 'tutors', this probably refers to a young member of the Mostyn family, possibly Thomas Mostyn, born in 1776.
2. This may refer to Thomas Falconer rather than to Pennant's brother-in-law (from his first marriage), Revd James Falconer.
