Excuse my troubling you on the strength of y^r kind offer of services: I am most desirous of some accounts of the pictures at Tarnaway castle: I applied to Lord Kinnoul & his Lordship refers them to you. if you are so good as to get them answered, be pleased to transmit y^r favor by means of my good friend M^r Oliphant of Rossie: perhaps you may have some further trouble from M^r Marshall about the old fosses on y^r demean. I hope M^rs Mackenzie is in perfect health, & beg my best complim^ts.
