Dear Sir

Excuse my troubling you on the strength of yr kind offer of services: I am most desirous of some accounts of the pictures at Tarnaway castle: I applied to Lord Kinnoul & his Lordship refers them to you. if you are so good as to get them answered, be pleased to transmit yr favor by means of my good friend Mr Oliphant of Rossie: perhaps you may have some further trouble from Mr Marshall about the old fosses on yr demean. I hope Mrs Mackenzie is in perfect health, & beg my best complimts.

I am Dear Sir with much esteem
Yr obliged &
most obedt Servt

Tho. Pennant
