I beg Mr Smellie to add my name to his subscribers if you will send me two more proposals I will circulate them. He ought to insert my synonyms of each species & the new animals of my synopsis & in particular to engrave my spotted Hyæna.

Mr Sm. will oblige me much by a set of the plates qto size of my qto Br. Zoology & I will chearfully pay expence of paper & working. Please to send the Genera of birds if you can get a cheap conveyance to me at Mr Longman’s bookseller in Pater noster Row.

I will inclose to you a few proofs of Mr Cordiners prints which will do without giving ourselves farther trouble. His work goes very soon to the press.
