Dear Sir

I am glad the prints are arrived & hope they will be as much liked with you as in England. is the Flora Scotica come? Thanks for yr intelligence about my poor friend.1 if you can send me a catalogue of his curiosities I shall be glad. I fear you forget the descent of Lord Fife The occupation of his grandsire & the means they got at wealth. I shall observe strict silence.

I find by the return of my Bookseller that my Welsh Tour has done very well. So I shall on with spirit with another part & hope to produce it at Christmas. I shall soon send you another proof for Mr Lows benefit which I trust will please. I love to promote merit. I fear he forgets his promise of a skua to my friend Mrs Blackburn. inclosed is a cancel for you for my Welsh Tour.

With
great truth I rest yrs

Th. Pennant.

March 16th 1779.
