Dr Sir

Hasty thanks are due for Mr Williams ingenious Essay. My thanks also to him for one in qto I had by Mr Panton.

I am sorry for Bailey’s negligence: but really cannot help it. He is a most remiss man; & I often regretted the employing him.

I beg my best wishes to Mr Low. I beg to have his M.S.S: if ready, & fair by means of Mr White. perhaps he may get a scribe in yr city. I hope he is concise for that is what the public admire. I long for his drawings which my Servant shall finish this winter. I need not recommend a safe conveyance to Mr White.

I
am Dear Sir
Yr affect humble Servt

Tho. Pennant
