Dear Sir

yr kind Letters of the 8th. & 15th. inst met me here. I am quite angry at yr thinking of buying any of my works when you have such a just clame to all I can do. but neither vol. can appear before the latter end of. next month.1 I hope to get Johnstons poems here; so do trouble yourself about them [sic]. Be so good to peruse & then forward the inclosed to Mr Low. I am in much haste.
