one favor with a Letter from M^r Campbell another with the prints are received with thanks.

I scarce know what to advise about M^r aulds compunction. are N^s. 9. 10 11. 12 vol. II Advoc. Libr. worth attention?

Stukely’s Stone hinge is a fanciful book. Borlases Antiquities of Cornwall is the best book M^r Low can have.

I have told him to draw on me for twenty pounds in aid of his voyage.

In respect to y^r earnestness ab^t sending him books, you are very kind but he had best collect all his materials & then form his remarks from Books.

Pray transmit to him the inclosed hints.
