Dear Sir,

I give you many thanks for your kind favor & for the verses. I must trouble you get this card answered. Mr Kincaid who I think is related to the Marquiss of Lothian perhaps will readily do it from the marchioness.

I wish much also to know who Sir Peter Frazier was whose picture I saw at Castle Gordon, & who Sir Alexander Frazier, Scotch Tourp.122 of what family & what their history.

I will send Mr Low the sheets of the Phalainologia as fast as they are printed, in franks.

I find several of the Edinburgh Magazines missing, some numbers by mistake never having been sent: so after this quarter I beg to have the whole quarter bound & sent to London as opportunity offers. I hope to get the numbers I want, when I have time to name them.

I am now at Chester: & enquire for Mr McGovans parcel but it is not yet arrived: which you will please to let him know least he think me negligent in not acknowleging [sic] the receit.

I am
Dear sir
truely yrs

Tho. Pennant
