I left money to pay my 2d subscription but as the has left town, I must request
Mr Faulder to pay you the ½ Guinea for that purpose. I wish you would wrap it
carefully with soft paper round a Roller & leave it at Mr Hughes’s

Pennant probably refers to his printer,
Henry Hughs (or Hughes), although no record associating him with an address at John Street, Adelphi, has been identified, and the spelling
of the name ('Hughes') is uncharacteristic of Pennant. who will bring it down.
