Excuse a short letter to say that I send by this evenings Chester mail, the most material deficiency to yr copy of the arctic Zoology. As to the two title pages, I am sorry to trouble you with directions about them, vide the inclosed1 for not being on the spot I cannot assist more than by instruction. Be so good as to order the size of the paper & order a copy of the 2 title pages to be kept for me, because my copies are equally deficient. This bring on anticipation of the good wishes of the season by a single day. Let me request miss Bull & you to accept them with all sincerity from yr grateful friend. accept also duplicates of eight picturesque drawings taken in the Bay of Fundy or its neighborhood.
