Dear Sir

No one speaks purer welsh than Moses but I do not always understand his English. but he certainly expressed the utmost dislike of his drawing of Mr Pitt, & as I thought had not charged it. I hope to see you soon after the 10th. thank you for intelligence; & again for not risquing the purchase of the expensive maps. I can see them when I come to town.

Pray recollect whether there is a print of the famous Gaston de [...]Foix who died in 1391. or of the Great Rolando slain in the field of Roncevaux, & celebrated by Ariosto. These are two Heros I greatly want. all other wants I reserve the mention of till I come to Stratton street except one that you would be so good as to prepare Sir W. Burel to give me a sight of his Sussex drawings. As I have abjured authorship he may safely do it. a hundred things crowd on me to be done before I leave home, so I must hasten to subscribe myself

Dear Sir
Yrs most truely

T. Pennant.

Downing Febr. 22d. 1790.1
