I have no scruple of taking yr duplicates: but wish an acct cd be kept of what we pay for. I am not in the way of getting Hollars. you are pray buy for [sic] his Queenborough, Dorchester & cows. & Be so good as to ask the price of his 5 Dovers.

1. Richard Bull has added the year '81' to the date given by Pennant. The contents, together with the possibility that Bull may have confused the figures '1' and '7', suggests that 1787 is the probable date of this letter.
