Dear Sir
This day I received your favour of 19th. ultimo, hope you will have got my last on your arrival at London; yours for Mr Freebairn was sent off immediately, the postage was paid
I shall endeavour to get the East Coast as well supplied for you as possible, can recollect none further North, than what Adair has done, which can be depended on unless Mr. Mackenzie's Survey of the Coast ^which last has not yet appeared, if you have not Adairs Coast Maps, I will try to provide a Copy for you.
So soon as the Antiquities of Stirlingshire with the Map is published I shall beg your Acceptance of it; as also the History of Glasgow with a plan & Sir David Lindsay's Works are by me for you there shall be sent to Mr White's Care at London, with these you will receive a new Plan of Dundee: there is a proposal of a Survey of Angusshire shortly to be begun by the same hand, one Crawford a Young man, it's thought he will do the Antiquities &c. on a separate sheet from the Map
