Dear Sir

I wrote yesterday the first part of such remarks as occured to me relative to this country, which I inclosed for you under two different Covers. The remaining part I now send you, which concludes all the Observations I have to communicate with regard to your Tour — Neither at present, or formerly, have I paid any attention to language or arrangement. What I principally aimed at was to convey to you the bare knowledge of facts. Even in that respect I am sensible that, by the ^uncertain information of others, I may sometimes have been led into mistake. But I am not conscious that it has not all along been [sic] my own endeavour to divest myself of every prejudice which I might be naturally led to imbibe in favour of my own country, and to keep strictly within the verge of truth.

Any letters you are pleased to favour me with will find their way to me at Killin by Crieff, as formerly, till the middle of May. After that, you'll be so good as to direct for me Minister of the Gospel at Arrochar, by Dumbarton –––––

I shall be obliged to you for informing me when you propose to print your new edition of the Br. Z., as I may possibly add a few more Galic names to your list, and correct one or two of the old ones a little.

Wishing you all imagined success in your present and all future publications,

I remain Dear Sir Your most obliged hue. Servt.

John Stuart
