Dear Sir

your Letter as usual obliges me much. I have read some of Mr Lows of [sic] Journal & am much delighted with it. Pray lend him yr new edition of Br. Zool. all the volumes; for I have no more to give away. They will be of much use to him. He ought by all means to visit the northern orknies to complete his work. Which will meet with encouragement. Pray write to him as much & let him know I will write soon.

The libel is too low & insignificant to to [sic] be attended to.1

adieu
yrs affectly

T Pennant.
