Dear Sir

Y^r kind Letters & pacquet from Dundee came safely; I am much obliged to you for them but in this place have not time to cast my eye over them. I am busy getting materials for a map of Scotland if you know of any Surveys or Charts that will be of use pray acquaint me. I mean at Edinburgh for I know what may be had here. is Brice’s Survey of the coast of Strathnavern to be had with you.

Be so good as to leave the Letter for M^r Mackenzie at his house & put the other in the post. I stay here only till the 11^th of next month. Pray did you ever send the prints to D^r Saunders for He writes as if he had not got them. M^r White has but just had my order from M^r Balfour.
