I give you many thanks for yr kind Letters & kinder present. all the books in the box are directed; if not advise me of it if you have doubts.

No prequel came by post from Mr Jackson. I trust it will the next. pray enquire whether it stopt at yr P.office. whence came it from? I am very sollicitous [sic] about it.

Be so good as to forward the inclosed.
