Dear Sir

I have just time to thank you for yr favor of Jan. 10th. & to say it will be needless to bustle yrself abt the macleans; except there be something very remarkable.

If you can give me the octvo Edition of abercrombie I shall be glad & will pay you for that & magazines: but why do they persist in sending them.

About 130 pages of my 3d edition qto are printed.1 The other will be soon ready I hope. Be so good as to read seal, & forward my letter to Mr Low.
