all yr pacquets are here & lay me under fresh obligations. I only lament the want of Letters to the Leadhills. my best complimts & thanks to Mr Clerk. let me beg more Letters to the S. E end of L. Lomond also to the east side to meet me at Glasgow the 7th or 8th of next month. I hope Mr Stuart will not disappoint me: & a good free draughtsman got. excuse me for not answering Mr Clerke’s Letter. I am partly uncertain whether he is in town. my best compliments to Mr Oliphant.
